"The Just Beyond is great adventure in a seriously cool fantasy/SciFi
setting, one that surprises regularly (about every other chapter). But what
moves it beyond "good read" material is that the story is a carrier
wave for some big ideas about the nature of man, life and the universe in which
we live. The author has an awareness about him that he brings to his audience
in the form of a really good story. I was particularly taken with the artful
presentation of a truth that can so easily elude one - that the condition in
which one finds himself is the result of his own creation. Given the good work
of Mr. Tucker and the value of his book, I suspect conditions will be very good
for him (worked out pretty well for his hero)."

“Too amazing for words, but I'm going to words anyway. Read
this book, because it's going to suck you in and devour your day. Really, put
dinner in the crock pot beforehand and set a reminder to pick the kids up from
school. You've got a great book to read.”

"Even though I am just over half through the book I can't wait to finish and looking forward the next one in the series. "Michael is a self sacrificing do-gooder who goes out of his way to help others. With his share of loss in his life he still has faith in right and wrong... I can't say I have one favorite part because every single time he makes someone else's day I fell in love with him a little more. But every time disaster strikes him I cried for him too."
